From Witch to Princess

An alleged witch married to the king was saved after proving her innocence before she was executed.
Just this past weekend it was revealed that our beloved Queen did not laugh or speak so that she could free her brothers from a curse cast by her stepmother. Her brothers were transformed into swans and were able to gain human form everyday for just 15 minutes. It was fortunate that they were able to speak with their sister and tell her how to rid of the curse: they told her not to speak or laugh for six years and make six shirts from the flower starwort.

During this time she married the King and was hated by her mother-in-law. Her evil mother-in-law accused the Queen of murders of her three children. In actuality it has been revealed that all three were safe and were kidnapped by the malicious mother-in-law. Her six years were up just before she was executed and the queen was able to prove her innocence. Her mother-in-law was executed in place of the Queen.

"I'm impressed with her for not talking or laughing for six years" said the eldest brother "I am really thankful that she was able to do it and that she has such an awesome King for a husband."

The king was delighted with his ever more beautiful wife who could now talk and laugh, adding to her beauty. The king had sent scouts to search for the evil witch step-mother, but they were reported dead.
